For the first time since early April at Busch Stadium, the Cardinals and Brewers are meeting for a three-game series, this time at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In the first game of the series, Junior Guerra will take the mound for the Brewers. Guerra took on the Braves his last time out and held them to four hits through five frames while striking out six. Pitching for the Cardinals will be Carlos Martinez. Martinez allowed six earned runs in his last start of five innings that came against the Cubs.
Wily Peralta will pitch for the Brewers in the second game. Peralta faced the Braves in his most recent start and surrendered two earned runs on seven hits through his 5 1/3 innings of work. The Cardinals will counter with Mike Leake. Leake held the Nationals to two runs, a pair of solo home runs, over seven innings of solid ball.
The series finale will feature Zach Davies for Milwaukee. Davies was in charge of handling the Reds in his last outing, and he limited them to two earned runs through 5 2/3 innings and whiffed four batters. Garcia heled the Nationals to two earned runs on seven hits through his seven-inning outing on Friday, May 27.
STL: Stephen Piscotty, right fielder. Piscotty has eighteen hits in his last 54 at-bats, including a homer and a .463 slugging percentage.
