This weekend, the Cardinals will welcome the Braves to Busch Stadium for a three-game series, the teams’ final meeting of the 2016 season.

In the first game of the series, Jaime Garcia will start for the Cardinals. Garcia has pitched to a 5.31 earned run average over his last seven starts, a time period in which Garcia has allowed 23 earned runs on 44 hits and fourteen walks. Jose De La Cruz will go for the Braves. De La Cruz has made three starts for the Braves this season and held the Phillies scoreless for 4.1 innings in his most recent one.

The middle game of the three-game set will feature Carlos Martinez for the Cardinals. Martinez is 3-1 with a 2.66 ERA over his last seven starts, in which Martinez has logged 44 innings and struck out 37 batters. With starter Julio Teheran recently hitting the disabled list, the Braves have not yet announced who will take the mound for Saturday’s game.

Adam Wainwright will pitch for the Cardinals in the series finale. Over his last six outings, Wainwright owns a 1.99 ERA and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 37:8. The Braves are expected to role with Mike Foltynewicz. Foltynewicz has failed to make it out of the sixth inning in each of his last three starts and has allowed fourteen earned runs in that span.

Braves: Freddie Freeman, first baseman. Freeman is batting .279 over his last fifteen games with nine RBIs.

Cardinals: Tommy Pham, outfielder. Pham is 7-for-21 over his last seven games with two homers and five runs scored.
